Hope Presbyterian Church was organized on December 8, 1919. There were four charter members with one elder and three trustees. The Rev. O.J. Williams organized the church and the Rev. C.A. Adams was moderator from 1919 to 1921.
The church was reorganized and the church building dedicated on June 21, 1925. Over the years, the congregation multiplied to support a thriving Sunday school, adult choir, children's choir, and a full sanctuary at services.
In the 1950's, when the church was no longer able to support a full time Pastor, we shared Pastors with other churches, including Wabeno, Lakewood and Laona. We have also shared Pastors with Faith United Church of Antigo and Hogarty Presbyterian Church of Aniwa.
The current Commissioned Ruling Elder and Moderator is George D. Buchanan, CRE.
We are proud of our heritage in the Presbyterian Church, as we all feel like family whether related to each other or not. We welcome visitors as if we have known them forever.
